Hi Wendy - I just joined SparkPeople and your profile sounds very similar to mine. I have two kids, (Rachael is 2 1/2 and Kevin is almost 10 months). I was thin when I got married in 2000 but then I gained 20 pounds after having Rachael and another 10-15 after Kevin. I am hoping to lose 30-35 pounds by summer. I live in Swedesboro, Nj. Hi Wendy - I have two little ones too. 2 1/2 and 9 months - I wish I could belame my weight on my children - I lost 40 lbs when I had my daugheter then gain back 30 then had my son and lost 20 but after he was born I put it right back on. I find the hardest thing to do is find the time to exercise - there's always something that needs to be done and I get up for work at 4:30 am so I can't do it after the kids are asleep or I'll never get to sleep, 3561 days ago
I'm still around and doing well. Things have just been really busy both at work, with family and boyfriend and with the holidays, etc. I haven't been using the site to keep track of my eating or exercising and honestly I haven't been keeping track of it at all. Luckily, I haven't gained any weight, I've actually lost a tiny bit, but since I haven't been exercising everything is getting soft again. So, exercising is my focus now and I'm going to try to do something in the morning and at night. I'll hope for the best! My trip to CA is in January so I still have time to make some changes.
