On the Road
My name is Amanda, I am 25, and live on the East Coast. My last year of high school and when I was in college I added a lot of extra weight. Recently I decided that I really wanted to lose it. I love to swim and am currently participating in the 100 Mile Swim Club at my local Y. I have also started to branch out and take yoga, pilates, and Zumba classes, which I am really enjoying. :) I have now started working with a personal trainer 2 times a week.

My Goals:
-lose the extra weight - complete the Beaufort River Swim in less than 1:33:00 - DID IT IN 1:13:45!! -drop 1-2 dress sizes by 5/18/11- DROPPED 1! Weight goals: 10% = 235 lbs. 20% = 227 lbs. 30% = 219 lbs. 40% = 211 lbs. 50% = 203 lbs. 60% = 195 lbs. 70% = 187 lbs. 80% = 179 lbs. 90% = 171 lbs. 100% = 163 lbs.
My Program:
I am getting into the habit of having breakfast everyday. Keeping my calories in the 1300-1600 range. Watching my sodium intake. Workout with my trainer 2x a week. Swim at least 1 mile 3x a week.

My long-term fitness goal for the year is to swim more than 100 miles by Dec 31, 2011. My local Y has a 100 Mile Swim Club that I have joined. My short-term goal is to lose 50lbs by Thanksgiving (4 1/2 months).
