I no longer want to be the fat friend, fat wife, or fat mother. I want to be healthy. My whole family is over weight and I don't want that in my future or my son's future. I grew up very active with sports. I played baseball and softball and also was a cheerleader. I still seem to struggle with my weight but was a pretty healthy size. Now I'm no longer in high school and not playing sports the pounds just seem to keep adding up. I'm ending that now. This is a new beginning for me!

I try to stay with in my calories. I am very bad at counting so thats my big focus. I also do Jillians DVDs. I just ordered Insanity so we will see how that works out for me.

Personal Information:
I love spending time with my son and husband. They are my motivation.

Im glad to hear that you are still trying to stay on track. I understand how hard it is not to eat on break too. I work at Red Lobster and I usually make myself leave on break so Im not tempted by the food. Maybe something that you can do is bring a snack that you can leave in your jacket or car...peanut butter and apples is always a healthy choice. It doesnt need to be refrigerated and the peanut butter makes you feel full which will help distract from the ever-ready McDonalds food. Good idea reading thing inspirational stories! I find that they provide a good kick in the butt when needed.

Good luck to the hubby in his last semester at school! It definitely is the hardest (but also well worth it) Remember during your struggle that you only have to go 3 more months befure he graduates! And you can do it.

As for me..I am also finishing up my last semester at school and the work load is definitely no joke! I always find it difficult at school to stay on track sometimes becasue our dining hall (which we have to be a member of) has an ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET everyday...at every meal....definitely a test of the will powers but I have found that sitting the fartherst away from the food makes it easier to say no...laziness finally has a perk! haha
