Hello, I'm a lady who is looking forward to changing her lifestyle. I'm excited about the opportunity I have to loose weight, get in shape, and start thinking about my future as something that happens today, not tomorrow.
I've always had trouble saying no to a second, third, fourth, or fifth helping if it is available and requires no energy to get. Now I'm trying to think ahead and plan for what I'll eat. So far I'm having difficulty figuring out how to plan for dinner at friends' homes, or eating out at a restaurant that doesn't advertise its nutrition facts. These are things to learn . . . . I'll get there though, I have to.
I'm 28, looking forward to 29, so I don't want to wait any longer to get in shape. I think it would be a great blessing to look hot while I'm still in my twenties, don't you?

My Program:
So far I'm watching my diet and then exercising on my days off from work (4) each week. Increased water intake.
I'm thinking I'll allow myself Starbucks on Sunday mornings before church, but this may change if I start feeling even more determined. What I don't want to do is feel deprived . . .

Other Information:
Just a note . . . though this may seem petty, I'd like to be sure and state that though I joined Spark in April '08, I simply erased the emails for 9 months. My official start date has to be 1/26/09.

Thanks for the comment on my page! Listing the workouts really keeps me motivated! Congrats on your weight loss!!!This month my weight loss has been in a lil rut, so I am going to make sure that I am eating enough calories... I may have been starving myself a lil for my level of workouts.
