Looking to loose what I seemed to have picked up along the way
I am a single Mom of a 5 year old and I am watching my Mother struggle with some health issues. These problems are in very large part to her weight issues. I do not want to put my son through that. I want to teach him what it means to be mindful of your body. I have some anxiety issues and to mask the problem I tend to eat way to much candy. I also love to drink coke and eat cheese. I am a single Mom of a 5 year old and I am watching my Mother struggle with some health issues. These problems are in very large part to her weight issues. I do not want to put my son through that. I want to teach him what it means to be mindful of your body. I have some anxiety issues and to mask the problem I tend to eat way to much candy. I also love to drink coke and eat cheese. Those are my vices. I have struggles with some weight issues for most of my life. Mostly out of fear of ending up like my Mom. At 18 I weighed 96 lbs. Way to small I was told. I worked on the problem and did so well I know weigh 152. I am thinking somewhere in between would be perfect so I am shooting for 130. I will loose the weight by eating heathier and snacking less. More fruit and veggies and more water. I hate to work out so this may be a problem. I want to take classes at my gym but I am to afriad to go by myself.

My Goals:
1. Keep logging in my food everyday. This has really made me more aware of how much I am eating and how many calories I intake that are empty. 2. Drink more water. At least 4 glasses a day. I really suck at this. I am a coca cola addict. Tried to stop drinking a few times but always slip right back in. If I am drinking coke I never drink water. Its bad. I can't afford the calories or the sugar. 3. I will work out 3 times a week. I will. This is tough for me cause I seem to always find an excuse as to why I can't. Tired, busy, son, work blah blah blah. I just need to do it. I pay for a gym I don't even go to. I have a treadmill at my house I never use. NO MORE EXCUSES! Mon, Wed, Fri I will work out even if its just crunches 4. Cook at home 3 to 4 times a week. I think this will help me curb the fast food convenience and I will have leftovers for lunch.

Not on a program yet just trying to start a new habit.
