My Personal Wonderland

Anyone who has ready my blogs will probably think "Yeah, she says that about every three months. Whoop-dee-doo." But I don't mind. I'm not worried about how my intermediate goals have changed (weight loss, health increase, body fat percentage decrease, etc.) because I have decided that it's time to stop being on a program and start just living life. (Yes, I have said that before, too!)

I think I finally believe it.

If I can make myself stronger, then I'll be able to accomplish anything I set my mind to, be it a race (Wasatch Back, here I come!) or an activity (mountain biking, anyone?) or just fitting back into my way-too-expensive jeans (no more muffin top!) because I have the power to do it and the strength to back me up. Here's to another year in Wonderland!

My Goals:
I have revised my health metric goal to body fat percentage. It's no fair that I'm densely built and therefore really heavy; I want to be less squishy! So my BF% goal is going to be between 20% and 25%. It sounds healthy and doable.

Also, 30 minutes of daily exercise. If my dog needs it, then it won't hurt me to do it too! It doesn't have to be intense, but anything will help.

My Program:
For the last few months, I've had a personal trainer. He's helped me out a lot, and I think that I'll be able to keep up my new lifestyle even after we're done working with him every week.

We also got a dog, which has been helping to motivate me to get moving more! Nothing says "daily exercise" like a hyperactive puppy!

Thanks so much for the ideas! I will be using the wrap & orange ideas for sure! Also the hard salami I can keep in a backpack with some crackers so we have a snack while we are in the parks!

Very pink, Alyss! As in, "In the pink?" I've seen 4 inches of snow in the valley in June, so April is still early. I also remember skiing Pine View without a wetsuit on my birthday. Very cold, very happy to be on the water instead of in it. Seemed like the thing to do at the time. As far as my minutes go, they add up fast when I enter three weeks at a time. I should be visit more regularly...
