A Sweet End to a Bitter Beginning

Hello everyone!
My name is Alyssa and welcome to my sparkpage! I know, it's a mess but bear with me while I get this all fixed up!

My journey began four years ago in the middle of my sophomore year of high school. I had been overweight/obese my entire life and I honestly had no idea what it was even like to be thin. It all changed when it hit me that I was miserable. I could hardly breathe and I looked.....well, horrible! Exactly how was I living life like this?

My journey began four years ago in the middle of my sophomore year of high school. I had been overweight/obese my entire life and I honestly had no idea what it was even like to be thin. It all changed when it hit me that I was miserable. I could hardly breathe and I looked.....well, horrible! Exactly how was I living life like this?

From that day forward I just started by walking every day after supper. Eventually, I convinced my mom to start buying healthier foods and the first twenty pounds melted off after only two months!

I've had my ups and downs, but I am happy to say that I've officially lost 95lbs and counting!

My Goals:
- Jog 3 miles!
- Do 50 sit ups
- Do 25 push ups
- Motivate others and help others achieve their goals
- Get into the Air Force

My Program:
Just the good ole' fashioned way! I am definitely trying to eat healthier foods, but I will eat wings if I want to and I try to incorporate my favorite snacks when my health goals allow.
My workout consists of weights and 30+ minutes of cardio 3-5 times a week! I also try to walk wherever possible, even in the rain.
