Hi.

I'm a 29 year old woman from Leeds, in the UK. I've been slowly gaining weight since I went to university in 2001 (I've gained way too much weight since).

I've been trying to lose weight off and on now for years, and I'm going to combine calorie counting with exercise to get me to target faster.

Heyyy how is it goinng??! I came across your page on the 30 day shred group! I'm from the UK too, nottingham :) and i am like 147-148 pounds (it keeps changing urgh !) and my ultimate goal is 130s, but i'm working towards the 140s and hopefully will reach that goal by the 7th July (the day i go on holiday eek).

How tall are you?? i'm 5ft 9 1/2, and currently a size 14 on bottom in jeans (but only primark jeans lol, i have a weird fit, and their weird sizes fit around my strange body! ) and I am quite small from the top including arms and chest basically could fit into a size 8 if it wasnt for my humongous tummy and hips and thighss :(

Anyway i would love to keep up with you and your weight losss as your pretty much similar to mee !

Can i ask, what is your typical daily food intake on the slimming world diet your on? I am sticking to 3 meals a day and eating pretty healthily but was wondering how much i really need to cut down on to make a differencee

Everyday i've been doing at leaast 30 minutes on the Wii fit aerobics stuff, i've even gone a bit loopy and have started doing it at like 1am in the night when everyone's asleep and yesterday managed to do 2 hours straight ! (i'm off for the long uni summer break :D)

I also just braved the Jillian Michael 30 day shred DVD - I started doing it about a month ago with my sisters and did around 4 days of Level 1 before i went back to university, but i find it hard with them around me. I thought I was fit enough now to brave Level 2 after that long break (thinking the Wii fit exercise helped lol - and hoping i'd lose more calories) and I did it :D

i hope i can lose all this weight in time :(

Hi Leigh, thanks for your input on the HRM issue. I decided to go ahead and have my current one fixed, but when that turned out a bust, I went ahead and bought a slightly newer model. The nice thing is, it's much smaller than my other one. We'll see how it does!
