Alli's Journey... Mother of Two!

Hello and welcome to my SparkPage. I am here to change my life. I am here to get my self back. I am here to rant and rave about this process, to delve deeper into why I am overweight and figure out how to change it. I am here because I am learning to value myself, my body (look at what it can do - 2 kids!) and my whole life in general! I am here b/c it is time for a change!

My Goals:
Short term goal: Walking 10-12 miles a week - I do Leslie Sansone videos whether it is -20 or 80 outside! Eating more consciously and trying to stay in a smaller span of hunger and fullness. No eating after dinner.

Long term goal: To get under 200 lbs. within the year 2009. To workout 3-5 mornings a week rather than afternoons. Switch to decaf. coffee rather than caff.

My Program:
I walk 3 3-mile walks a week and am adding a 2-mile walk one morning a week for a total of 11 miles. I am reading "If I'm So Smart Why Can't I Lose Weight?" and slowly incorporating it into my life.

I have 21.5 lbs. to lose still from the pregnancy (and postterm stress).

Personal Information:
I live in Minneapolis, MN. I completed my Masters in Theological Studies at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul 2007. I am a SAHM and plan to stay that way at least until #2 is in school. Right now I am thinking about Med. school...Prayers!

I have been married over five years to the most wonderful man. He is so helpful, considerate and a true partner. I have a 2yo named Emmalee and a 2 mo named Evelyn. They are beautiful, and teach me daily about God, life and me!

Other Information:

I want to be free, so I am working on changing my inside as well. I am no longer a slave but a daughter!

Thanks Alli,
Diefinately a huge change going from one kid to another. Still trying to find the right combo for Madison's sleep. She sleeps about four to five hours at a time though which is good. Trying to get myself back on track eating wise.
