Hi! I'm a Mom, wife, teacher, and grad. school student online in that order. My goal is to lose the weight so that I am healthier! Working out improves my overall mood. I need to get rid of this weight to keep up with my precious little one.

My Goals:
My goals are to lower my cholesterol and lose the weight for better health and an awesome, new wardrobe.

My Program:
***Low-Impact Fitness three times a week. I love Leslie Sansone and have been trying a lot of the workout videos on Netflix.

**Strength training is three days during the work week. I just do strength training through sparkpeople and would love to try Kettlebell fitness at some point for strength training.

**Toning-Pilates and Yoga; I love water aerobics, but I don't have the time to go to the pool for this toning exercise. I usually do Hatha Yoga daily because it relaxes me and it incorporates the stretching I need to do anyway after a workout. I try to do Winsor Pilates on my strength training days.

**Stick to the Mediterranean Diet in order to lower my cholesterol from 210 to a lower amount.

**I'm ONLY drinking coffee and tea since I love my caffeine. I've almost completely kicked the pop drinking habit.

Personal Information:
I'm a busy Mom, wife, teacher, and grad. school student online. I love life, I'm realistic, and I try to live by the golden rule. If this Mom isn't happy, then nobody is happy:).

Other Information:
I like to do things for my son. If I ever have free time, I like to relax, spend time with my hubby, watch movies, read a good book, go to the lake, paint ceramics, or do needlepoint.

    Sounds like you are doing Great! I plan my meals out the weekend before and then I don't have to think to much- just look at my tracker and pack my lunch..I usually bring leftovers with salad for lunch or tuna salad I like that too.
    I eat a quick lunch then get outside and walk for 20 -30 minutes-usually down to the river and back. I love walking- it gets some of my nervous energy out. I feel better emotionally when I get that break...
    That's great you have a work out buddy! I have been doing my strength exercises on my own at home- I am a little self conscious- so that's fine with me.
    School has been busy- getting to know the kiddos and their IEP goals- And getting setup in our classroom..Won't be long till I'm chasing my tail trying to keep our kids above water on their grades and visiting a lot of mainstream classrooms. I really do love my job though..It's challenging but rewarding also! Take care and keep up the good work! Barb : )
