EAT HEALTHY, GET HEALTHY

I'm a 49 year old looking to change my body.
I have a wonderful husband and children that I love dearly, and I life that I enjoy, but I am tired of being overweight and I am tired of trying to lose weight only to give up and have it all come back on again. I would like to at least be under 200 pounds by next year when I turn 50.

I also put on a lot of weight with each pregnancy, and never bothered to take it back off. I have a ways to go to get back to a good weight. I'm willing to do the work and have accepted that this is a lifelong change. Now if I can just get up and get to yoga class in the morning!!

My Program:
I'm keeping track of my calories with the Spark calculators, and following the Perfect Health Diet guidelines. No wheat and limited other grains, lots of protein, fresh veggies, and fruit. I am going to vinyasa yoga class 5 times a week.

ALOOGOBI, thank you so much for reading and commenting on my blog about my father's death. It sounds as if your father was fortunate to have been surrounded by such caring hospital staff. Though I encountered a few cold, insensitive health care workers during my parents' final days, for the most part, I was very touched by the good care they received from the nurses and the generally kind attitude of the doctors, who have been put into such a difficult situation by the way the system has evolved in modern countries. Thank you always for your thoughtful comments. I hope you are doing well and enjoying your yoga activities.
