EAT HEALTHY, GET HEALTHY

I'm a 49 year old looking to change my body.
I have a wonderful husband and children that I love dearly, and I life that I enjoy, but I am tired of being overweight and I am tired of trying to lose weight only to give up and have it all come back on again.

I was at a healthy weight in college (although I thought I was so fat!) but gradually put on pounds due to poor food choices. I also put on a lot of weight with each pregnancy, and never bothered to take it back off. I have ...

I'm willing to do the work and have accepted that this is a lifelong change. Now if I can just get up and get to yoga class in the morning!!

My Program:
I'm keeping track of my calories with the Spark calculators, and following the Perfect Health Diet guidelines. Limited grains, lots of protein, fresh veggies, and fruit. I am going to vinyasa yoga class 5 times a week.

I am somehow managing to stick with my program - mostly, and am feeling pretty good about it. It's been so long ago since I've been a bit lighter, I forgot how good it feels, and man does it FEEL GOOD!

Thank you for the really insightful comment on my blog! Exactly as you said, the weight is changing anyway, it's up to us and our actions whether we go up or down!
I'm committed to the scale going down and my fitness level going up!
