I am 63 years old and live in Southern Ohio. I am a Stage 3 cancer survivor of 13 years (I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in Oct. 2001 - the cancer was in my left breast and broke into my ribcage). I am doing well and though my lifestyle has changed a bit, I am optimistic on continued health.
I would like to eventually go back to Honolulu, Hawaii. I was there during my Army years and would love to see the Islands again but in a healthier body.
I took a fall 5 years ago and blew out my left knee. It has been a long haul recovering from the fall and I've had to change the way I exercise to accommodate the injury. I use a stationary bike with Bike-O-Vision dvds. I may be in my living room but I'm travelling thanks to these exercise dvds. I also use free weights and light cardio, too.

To lose 60 lbs. I know this is not going to happen overnight but I'm ready to take the step and start the weight loss. It's going to be hard work but for my health and the way I feel about myself....something needs to happen.
I have started working with Joel Dr. Fuhrman's Eat to Live Program. It has really made a significant change in my way of eating and looking at my health.
I enjoy the stationary bike and doing free weights.
I live in Southern Ohio. I am a cancer survivor of 12 years; I am Type 2 diabetic and have a thyroid problem. After cancer treatments, I developed lymphedema on my left arm. I've been able to keep it undercontrol with massage therapy.
I took a bad fall 5 years ago and blew out my left knee. I am learning to accommodate exercise with the problem. We do what we have to when things like this happen.
I have two mixed chihuahuas - Strider and Bandit and a minature poodle called Java.
I love cats as well.
