    Hi Alofa,

Wow! Congratulations! That is an amazing milestone! Plateaus are really tough. When things have been going so well for so long, and suddenly we aren't doing anything different but the weight loss slows to a crawl, OMG it is horrible. Your approach is best: radical tweaks! I am so happy for you!

It is funny, but I just did the same thing, and my weight is moving again. I was getting pretty tired of gaining and losing the same three pounds! Midlife is a game-changer. I have never had so much trouble getting my weight under control. Anyway, I'm moving on, now. I want to lose different pounds, not the same ones again and again!

Enjoy your awesomeness, Alofa! I want you to really celebrate and enjoy your milestone! You have worked hard for this!

Once in a while. It isn't recommended. Skipping one treatment increases risk of dying for 60 days everytime you do it. Some patients simply do not have the understanding why they are even there to be honest.Education on dialysis isn't very good here.

Your mom sounded like she had a lot of spunk 😊. I don't how anybody can skip treatments unless they have some function. Dialysis only gives you about 20% function. So if one has 15% it's low enough to be a patient but high enough that they can skip

Hate retaining fluid bc I know they think I went home and drank up a storm when I did less than my 1 liter a day. So that's my struggle. Have an awesome day friend!💖😊
