The past, The present, The future.

Its funny how something so obvious and simple can change your life.

The Future
I'm working towards feeling good. Feeling healthy, strong, beautiful and ENERGIZED. I dont ever want to get to that "she's too skinny" stage.

The Present
Some days I get really caught up in loosing the weight and other days I'm pretty happy. Right now I want to focus on my team *le edit* (you should join!) and all my sparkfriends. I'm really really happy with the diet and exercise plans I have made myself.

The Past
Eleventy years ago when I got married I was a very skinny little girl. I weighed 100 after a big meal. Weight was the last thing on my mind although I loved when people would tell me I looked long and graceful like a dancer. After getting married I had to GAIN weight to get pregnant. I gained 20 pounds but I didnt stop there. On the date of my delivery I weighed 200 pounds! Over the next few years still weight concerned me little. On its own my body dropped back down to the 150/160 area and I was quite happy. When I got pregnant with my second and third boys I got so sick each time I would loose 40 pounds in the first 3 months. But I made up for it each time hitting around 200 for the delivery. I had my tubes tied I think feb of '03? Sometime around then - by the way biggest mistake of my LIFE. Weight started bothering me at that point but never to the get off your butt and do something stage. Then in May of '05 my little sister asked me to be a bridesmaid at her wedding. I started half hearted attempts at dieting but with each diet I gained more weight. Atkins, South Beach, diet pills, "fasting" you name it - I tried it. I ended up reaching my highest 220 right before the wedding (July '05). About a month before I realized what was really happening, went on a diet, exercised my butt off loosing a few pound. After the wedding I really set upon loosing and in the next year I lost over 50 pounds through diet and exercise. It wasnt easy, it never was but it worked and the more it worked the happier I was.

My Goals:
My goal is to maintain or decrease my current weight and increase overall muscle tone, flexiblity and strength.

My Program:
Diet: I'm doing my best to make healthy choices and stay on P90X's protein fat shredder diet.

Exercise: I workout Monday - Saturday. I alternate days with Body Sculpt and Ab RipperX with YogaX and suscribe to LOTSA cardio. I usually go 2-6 miles a day with my walking buddy.

You can call me Emily. I am a mother, a wife (10 years). I have gone from a size 20w to a 10. 220 pounds to 160.

I own a tiara, string of pearls, and ruby slippers and I think you should too.

Update Feb 09: I'm currently enrolled in LLCC, majoring in Early Childhood Education. I took the freshman 15 to a 'hole natha' level! Time to get back to it!

Other Information:
Books: I only read fluff books. I have all the Royal Diaries and All of the new Pixie Hollow books. I like pink and hearts and if it sparkles I'll want it.

TV: I only watch LOST religiously.

MOVIES: I like chronicals of Narnia, Tomb Raider, Holes...
