I have started the New Rules of Lifting for Women program and I am looking forward to seeing progress! I want to gain muscle and strength - I have a long way to go! I am also trying to eat nutritious, high protein foods to help me build muscle.

Hi everyone,

I was part of Spark People a few years ago when I wanted to lose a bit of weight, get more active and stop putting so much junk into my body.

Now I'm here again to go back to tracking what I eat and making more mindful choices about the food I consume. As for excercising, I have been going to the gym since August (2010) and doing well with that. I am motivated to go because I truly enjoy it. Still, it is nice to track that too. I am interested in watching the progress of my measurements and fitness tests as I continue to work out.

I also enjoy having this great website to turn to when I am looking for information on healthy living.
