Yes, we do speak a little Russian, not much though. Just enough to get us by living there for 3 years. Most of the expats we were friends with where from other countries so English was the language we all used. As a result we never became fluent.
We were there because of my husband's job which is in the oil industry. It was an amazing experience for sure!!
I see you just returned from there. Where did you live and for how long? Did you enjoy your time there? 2492 days ago
I agree I would not have started this if my birthday fell in the next ten days! Our wedding anniversary is on the 7th of May so I wanted to make sure I could eat a dessert and some champagne that day too!
My plan is to keep my body fat at the "after" measure (16%) indefinitely. It's not necessarily true that every time you lose weight, it comes back; that's only true if you use some wacky, crazy unhealthy method to do it. The great thing about my cut was that it was just plain healthy eating, careful consumption, more intense workouts, so ideally it just speeds up the fat-loss trajectory I was already on. I'll do follow-up blogs with photos/weights/measures to make sure I stay on top of things. The lower your body fat goes, the more careful you have to be to maintain, but I'm careful enough to maintain all the time, just had to bust it to lose the last few lbs of fat between me and my faint, faint abs :) 2558 days ago
