They say life begins at 40, but 38 is pretty grand! I'm determined more than ever to get active and be happy with myself and make life more fulfilling and productive. I want people to know me as a happy and charitable soul. I'm ashamed to have wasted 5 unhealthy years, but proud to have learned from them. A little bit about myself: I will soon be married 16 years to Jerry. We have 2 children (FOUR-LEGGED ANGELS) together: Our oldest dog is Penny (11 and a rat terrier mix) and the youngest is our (my) black lab Allie. My Allie is almost human...and ALWAYS makes me laugh. I call her Al, but either way, she is my "clownangel". I have an AS in Criminal Justice, and am presently serving my 2nd tour in Iraq. My hobbies include outdoor activities, especially taking Al swimming or cruising our small town. Love to sit by the camp fire and listen to the frogs at night: it's a great time for reflection, of the past AND the future.
To get my body accustom to NEW habits, Eating healthy, being active, and to renew my spirit. I want to be an overall happier and healthier woman.
I am watching my calorie intake (and not eating after 6pm) and being more active. I have found the treadmill to be my most productive cardio tool, and use it 3 times a week, 45 minutes each workout.
I was born in Knoxville, but moved around alot. I guess you could say that I spent most of my childhood in New Tazewell. I have lived in Sneedville for the past 16 years.
I love movies. My main interests include comedys, dramas, and scary. Forrest Gump, We Were Soldiers, Thelma & Louise, Dumb & Dumber, Meet the Parents, Along Came Polly, (yes, I love Ben Stiler!) The Notebook, etc. My favorite scary movie has to be the 1st and best Halloween! My favorite TV show is The Golden Girls, actually 80's TV outweighs anything we have right now. Sorry, reality fans...lol. And I love that crazy Ellen!
