well! i see you just happened to stumble across my spark page! congratulations, you lucky devil, you.

my names allie; i'm twenty two years old, live with my boyfriend and fur-kid, Baxter and hail from the good ol' Canadian Rockies.

i've been on Spark now for about a year, but have decided to start fresh and wipe the slate clean. i had some trouble really getting back into the groove of things after i returned from disney world, so now it's time to get down and dirty ...

My Goals:
- to lose my 'pooch' once and for all!

- less than 25 grams of ADDED sugar a day (i don't strictly prohibit fruits because the sugar in it is broken down differently)

- as little saturated fat as possibke.

- strictly limit trans fat

- four servings of fruit and five to six servings of vegetables a day

- avoid snacking!

- do a little 12 minute body rocking a day

- walk Baxter at least 45 minutes a day

- keep my car clean

- become a beautiful person - inside and out.

My Program:
i like to try and keep my added sugar to a minimum, so, for me, that means less than 25 grams added sugar a day.

i found that when i started doing that, i lost the most inches arounch my waist and generally felt pretty energetic, happy and incredible.

i work out at least five times a week and remain fairly active the full seven. i love the out-of-breath, sweaty feeling i get after a good work out!

i do my best to eat at least three servings of fruit and vegetables a meal, along with a sufficient amount of proteins and fats to keep me fuller.

Personal Information:
i'm a twenty two year old part time student, full time receptionist in canada. i have a boyfriend named dave, who is my exact opposite and who i love dearly. together, we share a five year old german shepard cross rescue named baxter who is, legit, my pride and joy. i carry pictures around of him like some people do of their kids and shove them in my poor friends faces.

I started my journey on 09/05/2006 and I did not expect for it to happen....I lost 30lbs in 4 months!!!

Spark People WORKS!!

It does become a habit and you will succeed. This is a GREAT site and best of all it's FREE!! You have nothing to lose but weight and you are motivating soooo many which is the BEST FEELING EVER!!

Thanks for commenting on my blog....I know about planned parenthood and all that but I have to have a certain kind of BC b/c of my heart issues soo..now with my new job and insurance I can look into getting back on...I just worry about some of the risks that come with taking it such as stroke...eeek!
