Who I Am

Where have I been? Hiding under the clothes and excess weight. No longer do I want to hide. This journey is about finding me and being true to Who I Am.

I love who I am. Now I want my outside to look as good as my spirit. My body's shape is a residual of what was, now I'm looking to every future moment to be better. I love to meet new people, hang out with all of my friends, be with my family, scrapbook, read books and so much more!

My Program:
Cutting out sugar.
Yes, I have eaten too much sugar and I feel better without it. I reserve sugar for only the weekends.

Meditate.
Slowing down my thoughts brings me to a more peaceful, serene place to handle all the great things in life.

Other Information:
This quote has nothing to do with my personal weight goals, but it's a great quote from my grandma. My grandma has Alzheimer's and she's doing great. She told me "I know I have Alzheimer's, but I don't remember what I don't remember."
God bless my beautiful grandma! I love you!

I'm trying to learn how to use this website on my Droid, so I can keep better track of my journey. I've joined the 17 day diet forum, because the book looks like a way of life and not just a fad. I realize that 90% of what I see in the grocery store does not support a healthy lifestyle, but rather an unhealthy waistline.
