Trying for a new beginning!

I have two young children and have found myself neglecting my health and my happiness. I feel it is time to try to turn that around.

My Goals:
-Drink at least 5 glasses of water per day

-Eat out once a week...TOPS!

-Cook less processed food

-Go on walks more often, when weather permits.

-Alternate between strength training and cardio daily.

-Be proud of the woman I am!!!

My Program:
I am working on drinking about 3 bottles of water a day, which in the end would be 48 ozs of water.

I am also working on eating out once a week at the most. Definitely once on payday and possibly once in the week following payday.

I am working on incorporating more fruits and veggies into my diet and cooking less processed food.

When weather permits, I would like to go on daily walks with my children.

My plan is to use my WiiFit every other day and on the days that I do not use WiiFit I plan to do my strength training program.

I am hoping that if I can maintain these goals I will be proud of the woman I am, naturally...

Yeah ... I fell off the wagon for a bit. But after gaining last week - I'm back. How have things been going for you? Still motivated and on-track? I hope so!!

I think Bloomington is about 45 minutes away from me. We should definitely try to get together one day! I think that would be fun, with or without the kids. I don't know many people in the Twin Cities still.

Stress can really mess everything up. My little boy is doing great; he just turned 3. I'm really loving this age! You're lucky that your two have each other to play with. Sometimes I wish Georgie had a brother or sister to play with. How's everything been this last week for you?

That's great to hear!! I was so happy for you when I saw in my news feed that you lost a pound. At least you're getting moving, too. I've been exercising like crazy lately..but haven't lost anything. Probably building muscle...maybe next week when I have a lighter exercise week it'll show on the scale more. How's school and everything going?

Yeah I got that job!! I'm super stoked about it. I haven't really been doing so great myself. I haven't been doing badly, but I haven't lost any weight in 2 weeks. My calories haven't been that high the whole time, but I think the content of what I'm eating is having an effect. I got rid of the junk stuff from my kid's birthday and went to the grocery the other day and got some more healthy stuff. You need to get to the grocery, too!! Get some healthy stuff!! Have you been doing good with exercising lately?
