2012 - That elusive Sparkle... I know its in there.
2008 - I was just thinking that the other day on the way to work... What happened to my "sparkle" that joy in my approach to each day, that dash of wonder at each experience, that energy that kept me happy, healthy... I remember saying to myself in that moment... "I need to find my Sparkle"
Three days later, I found this website. I am a single mum with limited resources, debt up my yin yang, and way to many pounds on this poor body of mine... I quit smoking (yeah!!!) about four years ago and compounded with some health issues that slowed me down I very quickly put on over 80 pounds!!
I am so glad to be here and to meet you all... If I can support you in any way in your journey, or you in mine, lets take these steps together... Thanks for taking the time to read... :)
I want to be able to cut my toe nails again...
I want to be able to wrap a single towel around me again.. and actually cover everything!!
I want to feel comfortable with myself
I want to be active and to move easily
I want to have fun with my kids
I want to wear regular socks again and not cut off my circulation!
I want to wear pretty clothes again.
I want to feel good about myself and proud of my appearance.
I want to add more to this list as i think of it...

UNLIMITED (eat as much as you want):
all raw vegetables, including raw carrots (goal: 1 lb. daily)
cooked green vegetables (goal 1 lb. daily)
beans, legumes, bean sprouts, or *tofu (minimum 1 cup daily in total of these)
fresh fruit (at least 4 daily).
eggplant, mushrooms, peppers, onions, tomato and other non-starchy vegetables, cooked and raw (unlimited)
*Beans should be eaten daily; tofu should be eaten less frequently.
LIMITED (not more than one serving):
