Living to Love and Loving to Live

Just trying to lose the weight I gained in college, so that I can better enjoy life and feel comfortable in my own skin again. Life feels like it's moving fast, and I just want to keep up.

Also, please feel free to add me as a SparkFriend. I'm kinda new to the whole Sparkpeople community, besides the food and exercise trackers, and would love to make new friends!

My Goals:
To wear clothes with single digit sizes again.

To be confident and outgoing.

To become a writer.

To get a full time job in the meantime of which I can be proud.

To be a better birdie mommy.

To be an awesome daughter, sister, and future wife.

My Program:
I'm trying to eat between 1200-1550 calories a day, and to exercise at least half an hour a day. I follow a varied schedule of workout tapes to get me moving, and to prevent me from getting bored.

So far it's been hard, but I'm making progress and loving every minute of my new life.

Personal Information:
Born in Chicago.

Been living in Southern California for ten years.

Other Information:
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
