Welcome to the Tai Chi Team. Although I am one of the team leaders, I am actually very new to Tai Chi. It has been part of my daily practice for about 14 months. I am about 1/3 of the way through the second third of the Yang Luchan from. It is one of the long Yang forms.

I also practice Qigong and Chi Running (I am a certified instructor of Chi Running and walking and also lead that team).

A few years back DD convinced me I should loose a littel weight and get into better shape, and I have managed to make some progresss.

I hope you enjoy getting back into Tai Chi, my experience is that as you get into it and stick with it, it becomes bigger. I say, "IT is like peeling an onion,except that as you open up the layers, it keeps getting bigger and bigger.

I'll add you to my list of people to notify when the next round starts. Committing to 12 weeks sounds like a lot, but it's mostly fun and very supportive.

BLC stands for Biggest Loser Challenge. It is a team that opens to registration once a quarter that focuses on healthy weight loss by giving their members mini (about 20 people) teams. They have challenges each weekend to help keep us focused along with very supportive atmosphere in the team threads.

We just recently started a round which will run through mid July. It is especially good if you have trouble sticking to a workout/nutrition routine as they help you come up with goals and plans of action, and then accountability by weighing in every Wednesday.

If you are interested I can let you know when the next round opens to new memberships.
