I am recently separated from my husband of 12 years. I have been in this unhealthy relationship since I was 15. After learning that this was not a normal life, I took a chance and was able to get my girls and myself out.

I realize that I need to be happier, healthier, and more active for my girls... and myself. I have started college and am working two jobs. Losing weight is something that I need to do for me. I don't like how I feel or what I see in the mirror.

I know this will not be easy or happen overnight, but I must start somewhere. I'm looking forward to finding myself again.

My Program:
Just having tendon surgery on three tendons in the same foot/leg, I am going through physical therapy. I am now able to walk 10 minutes a day.

Not really a "program" but more or less achievements for the week:
*Try to get at least 10 mins of exercise a day

*Track at least 4 days a week

*Stay within 1200- 1600 calories most days

*Drink water daily

*Don't beat myself up if I don't do or eat the right thing at every meal; just do better at the next meal

Trying to start out at a slower pace this time. This is the upteenth time of trying to lose weight; figured I would try something different this time.



Personal Information:
I work as the choir director for our church and am currently going back to college.


Other Information:
I absolutely love to garden. I'm also addicted to crocheting, knitting, sewing and antiques. I love to find something old and make it new again.
