Hi, I'm Alison. i used to be really active in high school but then with college came beer, late night pizza, burgers and fries, minimal physical activity (walking to class was my workout for the week) and 40 pounds of memories. Once I graduated, I kept telling myself I was going to lose the weight but every time I failed at sticking to some ridiculous diet plan, or a workout regimen worthy of an Olympic athlete(when I had barely run a mile in 5 years) I would give up only to come back a month ...
Hi, I'm Alison. i used to be really active in high school but then with college came beer, late night pizza, burgers and fries, minimal physical activity (walking to class was my workout for the week) and 40 pounds of memories. Once I graduated, I kept telling myself I was going to lose the weight but every time I failed at sticking to some ridiculous diet plan, or a workout regimen worthy of an Olympic athlete(when I had barely run a mile in 5 years) I would give up only to come back a month later with some new crazy thing that was going to work because "this time it's different, this time I'm really sick of being overweight". Well, now I'm ready to actually change my lifestyle, not just go with the quick fix. So I'm here because I know it's going to take time, and it's going to be difficult at times, but it's always nice to get that reassurance that it's DEFINITELY worth it in the end :)
