Alicia's Goals

When I graduated high school, I was at my highest weight- 198 lbs. Now that I'm a mother, i want to be a healthy and happy example for my son!
I fell off the wagon in 2008, and am now fighting to get back on track! The biggest contributor to my past failure was a major plateau that lasted for several months. I foolishly gave up. Now, scales are completely banished in my home- the only weight on here is the weight I get during doctor's visits.

I am working out five days a week. I am also tracking what I eat in an effort to reduce caloric and fat intake while increasing protein and having more varied nutrients.

Happy Friday! Control is a tough issue for a lot of us. We can control some of what we do, but we can’t control everything! Keep pushing towards your goals. Even if you do not reach all of them, don’t give up! You can alter your goals or make new ones! Do your best to keep a positive and/or realistic attitude. You are AMAZING and WONDERFUL!

Happy Friday. Thank you for all of your support on my blogs.
I should try to change up my eating patterns. I want to add healthier snacks instead of just grabbing whatever I have! I want to cut out more processed foods if I can.
Also, you are right about the people regaining weight. I did that once already. A few years ago I lost 40 lbs on weight watchers. I didn't really LEARN any good habits, so I gave up and gained the weight back so fast! I don't want that to happen again. I need to trust in myself and have the strength to know I am making the right choices!
