Alicia's Goals

When I graduated high school, I was at my highest weight- 198 lbs. Now that I'm a mother, i want to be a healthy and happy example for my son!
I fell off the wagon in 2008, and am now fighting to get back on track! The biggest contributor to my past failure was a major plateau that lasted for several months. I foolishly gave up. Now, scales are completely banished in my home- the only weight on here is the weight I get during doctor's visits.

I measure various body parts each month. That way, I can make sure I am trending downward without obsessing.

Hey girlie! My running group is so small right now because it is just starting but I do hope it get's to that point. Yesterday was the first day and I just had one girl show up but it was great to encourage her along the way.

How have you been?

Thanks for your comment on my blog! As far as weights with 30DS... I think I actually started with NO weights and now I'm working with 5#'s. I hardly ever do that workout... If I did it consistantly I'm sure I'd have better results!

Thanks for your comment on my blog! I can't imagine no porta-potties!! I had to finish - I couldn't just stop and wait for the street cleaner to clean me up!! LOL! It sucked - but yes, I did finish!

I know...I just love that picture. When I saw it I thought, well that is the exact opposite of what the challenge was trying to convey but, you're right....he was so stinkin cute! I had to work him in somehow! Hope your weekend is a wonderful one!
