Just saw your question on my page. Seems I am repeating myself a bit with my blog comments. Oh well! Like I did mention in my last comment, I walk to the post office every morning and try to make myself take a quick afternoon walk on my break. I never used to take my breaks, but figure this is a good way to help my step counts. Other things I have tried are parking farther out in the parking lot, taking the long way from the parking lot into the office, getting up to stretch and just walk across my office once every hour, walking on my lunch break, offering to run any errands that come up and walk whenever possible, etc. I am sure that I am forgetting something. I keep hoping that eventually being more active will just become second nature to me, but so far that has not happened. I have to MAKE it happen every single day and that is just a lot of work! Good luck!!
