thank you for the blog comment!! That boy was gorgeous...i was a little nervous i havent judged in years and was worried i would forget or the standards had changed. if you look at my yesterdays page you can see the best puppy..he was the youngest and there were 2 other GORGEOUS older puppys but this litlle guy moved like a dream and was put together so nicely..and when the day was done the handler of one of the other 2, and an officer in the national newf club said man i KNEW when that van pulled in i was in trouble..i would have done the same thing. so i'm back in the saddle and ready for more..lol!!! it was a fun day..i did the working breeds and the best in shows...had a BLAST!!
Yes, I feel and little sorry for Willie, but this is for the best, it's not fair for him to have live a life alone all the time. He needs to be able to run with the herd, something he never has done in his 10 years. I am looking forward to see him running with them as just a horse should.
Thanks for stopping by and yes Merlin is quite the character, he always seems to amaze me. He just turned 8 months, so for a Newfy, at 110#s he still has a long way to go. Duke also has his moments, but he doesn't seem to have the facial expressions Merlin can come up with. You would swear he know what you are talking about, and he thinks about what he can get away with. Funny fur baby.
