Extra Special Guest Villainess

My SP handle comes from a character from a book written by E. Nesbit. Alice was one of the girls in the Bastable family, and while her older sister Dora was more ladylike and played at tea parties, Alice was busy getting into trouble with the boys. That's me, to a T.

Extra Special Guest Villainess was how they referred to Eartha Kitt on the credits of the old Batman show. She still is the best Catwoman, IMHO.

I am a professional musician and teacher living and working in the Spokane area. My private teaching studio is made up of violinists and violists from age 10-15, and they are some of the neatest people I know. I love my job!

My mom, my three sisters, and I are all overweight, so I guess it's a hereditary tendency. I always thought that since we were part Sicilian, we were good at surviving famines... I grew up thinking I was fat, and since I was already fat, why bother? I had weird ideas about my body image that were terribly unhealthy. Now I think differently about things, and have a healthier perspective, so it's time to make changes.

Three years ago, I lived a half-block away from the university gym, and all my friends hung out there, so going to the gym was great! I'd spend hours there, and went from a size 24 to a size 18 in 4 months, only dropping 16 pounds (I converted a lot of flab to muscle). Several moves and jobs later, I've put it back on, and more... This time I want to get it right, and keep going!

Eat 2 pieces of fruit each day over the weekend. It is a great way to have meet our nutritional needs and also helps with sugar cravings.
