Hi Everybody!!

Food:
For all my life I have treated food as a guard against feelings therefore have always been big. I think this really kicked off around 8 when not only did I get sent to boarding school but my parents divorced and a couple of years later when they both remarried. During my teenage years I was already large and I allowed the lbs just to keep rolling on this did not help my already very low self-confidence due to struggling at school (I have a reasonably serious learning difficulty ...

I think this really kicked off around 8 when not only did I get sent to boarding school but my parents divorced and a couple of years later when they both remarried. During my teenage years I was already large and I allowed the lbs just to keep rolling on this did not help my already very low self-confidence due to struggling at school (I have a reasonably serious learning difficulty called dyspraxia...had to go to special school until I was 8) .The dyspraxia always meant and continues to mean that I have VERY large issues playing sport as I have little hand-eye co-ordination and no amount of training is going to change that.

In late '08/'09 I found this site and lost about 20lbs before I went travelling howeveer whilst travelling I became extremely ill with a number of bacterial infection in feet and legs (They swelled up and all of my top layer of skin came off) which led me to get to 150 I guess (I'm not sure as I weighed more but lower limbs were badly swollen). So back to weight I then went to university and it hasn't gone well I just haven't been able to make friends I know a lot of that is my fault as I find it difficult to get to know people and begin friendships as I was bullied badly between 11-13 which has left me with a feeling of not being good enough and that when others spend time with me I am second choice and they don't find me interesting and that actually they'd rather be elsewhere this led to me putting on around 50bs in 6 MONTHS. I am now hovering on the edge og obese and I do NOT want to be there...not one little bit which led me back to here for round 2.

Hi, thank you so much for commenting. I have started and quit so many times, and after maintaining my 13 lb weight loss I really didnt want to stop again, esp cause of something I am feeling that is out of my hands, when I know I can do something, you know?
