I realized that I had the same introduction text on my Spark Page for two years. Here is my reintroduction...

I am Alexi :) I live in Chicago and work for the Food Network and Cooking Channel. If the latter wasn't proof enough, I am very passionate about food and what it can bring to your life. However, this passion has took a turn to the unhealthy side. Throughout college I steadily gained weight, pausing to lose it, and then gain it right back again. I always told myself I would never get past X amount of pounds, and if I did get that far I would stop. But that X amount kept increasing as the years flew by. I feel as though I have lost my spark, and that it is buried under the unwanted pounds I have gained. A once outspoken, opinionated, and confident individual has been reduced to someone no longer recognizable. I will make this change for myself, and only myself so that I can become the best version of myself possible. I want to live life with luster, confidence, and a overall positive outlook. No more excuses...let's get to it!!!! :)

Personal Information:
I am 22 years old and love my job at the Food Network. I love anything creative and am willing to learn anything new. My feelings are, the more things you let yourself open to learn in life, the more you will know and the more amazing and new ideas will arise from the connections inbetween the activities and topics you have experienced!

Hi there! I saw that you are looking for some buddies and I am too! I just joined SparkPeople after countless efforts to try and diet/exercise/lose weight myself, I found that I truly need a support system! I have about 20-30 pounds to lose myself...let's do this and be buddies! :)
