Where to begin?

I have been on Sparkpeople for years now, occasionally using its tools for good progress, more often ignoring it like the treadmill in the corner piled with clothes.

I have lost and gained weight throughout my late 20s and early 30s. I am mom to wonderful children, but I know that in order to keep up with them I have to eat better and exercise. No more crash dieting for 3 - 4 weeks and then hitting the happy hour hors d'oeuvres until all the weight ...
Where to begin?

I have been on Sparkpeople for years now, occasionally using its tools for good progress, more often ignoring it like the treadmill in the corner piled with clothes.

I have lost and gained weight throughout my late 20s and early 30s. I am mom to wonderful children, but I know that in order to keep up with them I have to eat better and exercise. No more crash dieting for 3 - 4 weeks and then hitting the happy hour hors d'oeuvres until all the weight comes back.

I am currently at my highest (non-pregnant) weight. However, I am hoping to change that in 2015.

Short Term goals are:
Eat clean (no processed, extra sugars, extra salts, or white flour)
Drink tons of water
Exercise 4 times per week (start with walking)

Long Term Goals:
Goal weight of 125 (which has been a good weight for me)
Beach vacation in 2016 wearing a bikini
I have a gorgeous snug-fitting dress for the 2015 holiday season - can't wait to wear it and look good!
Change my Sparkpeople picture (this one is from several years ago and a much lower weight than I am now - but I am SUPER camera shy lately!)
Start kickboxing again - it is an amazing workout!
Run a 1/2 Marathon in fall of 2015

Of course I want to be fit and healthy for my kids and my health, but I want to look good too!

Hope this is the time I finally achieve it!!

Clean eating
- no added sugar
- no added salt
- limit processed foods
- whole grains
- whole fruits
- whole vegetables
8+ Glasses of Water per Day
Easy Exercise to start
- walk 15 minutes, 4x per week
- squats (using body weight)
- deadlifts (using body weight)
- stretching

Thank you for the advice on flushing the Pringles! Yep, the anxiety turns into eating, a habit that's difficult for me to break. Maybe I should try carrots.
