There's nothing I cannot do.
I have struggled with my weight my entire life. In 2006 I weighed 240 after getting out of a bad relationship and I used Curves and Turbo Jam to lose 75 pounds! I felt amazing. I have struggled with my weight my entire life. In 2006 I weighed 240 after getting out of a bad relationship and I used Curves and Turbo Jam to lose 75 pounds! I felt amazing. But through the years, I stopped focusing on myself and the weight came back. After a few more failed realtionships, I met my husband. We got married in April 2010 and welcomed our son, Mason into the world on May 13, 2010. I had a lot of back and pelvic pain during my pregnancy that prevented me from working out and I had the "I can eat whatever I want because I'm pregnant" attitude. I gained 45 pounds! Which at my highest weight I was at 260 pounds! I dreaded getting on the scale at every doctor appointment. After giving birth I lost 20 pounds automatically and since then I have lost another 6 pounds on my own. We have just added another family member in November 2011, a daughter named Bailey. This time around I really watched what I ate and only gained 9 or 10 pounds. I am breastfeeding this time around and at 5 weeks post partum I am almost 10 pounds under my pre-pregnancy weight of 231. After losing my uncle two years ago and my grandpa last year to heart attacks and my mother having quadruple bypass surgery at age 47, I am ready to kick my butt into gear! I have to do this and I WILL do this. I am looking for others to help motivate me and to become friends with.

I am eating a heart healthy diet with lots of fruits and veggies and I am doing Turbo Jam every day and walking.
