Luctor et Emergo - I Struggle and Emerge
I'm 26, 5'4", and have been here off and on for a couple years. I've had emotional ups and (weight go) downs, and plateaus long and discouraging enough to make me cry. But. (And I'm not talking about my consistently shrinking posterior.) You can't do this while you're miserable. Well, you can, but it's hard, and you spend so much time being miserable that you can't look at the good things that are happening to you, and you have a tendency to wallow in discouragement. ...

Well, you can, but it's hard, and you spend so much time being miserable that you can't look at the good things that are happening to you, and you have a tendency to wallow in discouragement. Having the people who love you, who push your boundaries, make this possible and more than that - exciting. I would like to take this moment to thank everyone in my life who loves and supports me. Without you, I couldn't have gotten this far, and wouldn't be willing to keep on going.

Personal Information:
I'm a transplant from Port Orchard, Washington, living and loving in the gorgeous Grass Valley, California. I have completely embraced the sun, and love spending time outdoors and by the river. I'm also pretty sure that the sun has caused me to crave more fruits and veggies - nothing is better than fresh, local produce. Unless it's meat, with fresh, local produce.
