Why Why Why? We all ask our selves this question... for me I get lost in the question while searching for an answer. Truth is the answers are always there in front of me... I think I am just to afraid to see them. Exercise and eating right....hmmmmm rocket science right? The reason it is so hard for me to keep losing weight or even maintaining is because I am a creature of habit...person of comfort... bottom line I am lazy... mentally mostly...ok physically too! Truth is you can not have one with out the other. I get that...hence the title....WHY does it have to be so hard? My conclusion is we learn from our hard work and devotion, how much we learn is up to us... I have learned a great deal... I know if I stop exercising and eating right I gain weight back...(was down to 260...back up to 275) I know I use break time to relax and eat....haha... busy life... stress...tired...frustration... I use anything to stop myself from continuing at times....again...WHY? Fear is mostly why I stop...fear of dealing with everything I hide inside this fat suit... It is time to STOP ASKING WHY??? IT IS TIME TO MAKE CHANGES AND MOVE FORWARD... It is up to me to get started again... the hardest part about starting over is the guilt...if only I had stuck to it I could be at this weight by now....ARRRRG! Time to stop doing that and just DO IT! Time to stop feeling Embarassed about my body and worrying about how I look to others... How I look is not who I am...

My name is Gaye... I am from Alberta Canada...Small town girl

I share my life with a wonderful man and we have a daughter that is two. We just got married on August 10 2007, hence all the photos. I am a stay at home mom... I have a degree in child daycare management and 12 years experience with child daycare in general. We are foster parents and we are dedicated to our family. Main reason for becoming healthy is to teach our children about food and how important exercise is for us more looking in...I want to be apart of the fun!

Other Information:
I love to be with family and friends...I am a caregiver in general...everyone else first. I do enjoy reading and taking bubble baths.

I am addicted to crime fighting shows like Law and Order (criminal intent, SVU) I also love the show Medium and Crossing Jordan. Supernatural is my favorite show to watch good conquering evil is always a good thing...I love Stephan King novels and true crime novels.

    Hello, love! Stopping by to say hi, I am in my 7th month of pregnancy, and I am very anxious to meet my son but also anxious to get back on this website and back to the old diet and exercise! It's been really hard during pregnancy, so I've gained back all of the weight I lost last year (31 pounds) and then some - it's for a good cause, but I have a long road ahead of me this fall to lose it again!

    Just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you, hoping all is well with you :)

    As it is almost St. Patrick's Day (Monday 17th) I decided as I'm not on site much anymore and not posting, that I would drop by to wish all those friends who support and encourage me, people who take time to leave comments on my page and/or blog and those that message me
    A HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY & a great weekend.
