August 27, 2008 167# before carb cycling with my personal trainer.

January 4, 2008 187# after knee surgery and being inactive for 6 months due to knee problems.

Me and my wonderful husband at our mini farm. He has always told me he loves me no matter what my weight. He is a very smart man.

This new look is just for me!
I started at 205# in 2006 joining a local gym and doing 2 Boot Camps. November 2007 had knee surgery and the weight crept up to 187#. I had been a competitive body builder in 1985 winning a 1st and a 3rd. I am working with my trainier at the gym I belong to doing carb cycling. I have so much more energy with this program and I no longer crave carbs at the end of the day! Thank you sparkpeople for such a great website for motivation and education! ...

My Goals:
I now feel great after eating dinner as I no longer craving carbs! How you may ask? I am "Carb Cycling" that is eating all my carbs throughout the day. My trainer has me on a program where it is balanced with the amount of exercise that I do.
My Program:
Jan 16, 2009 Time to change up my routine: Monday-Elliptical & spin total of 2 hours Tuesday-Elliptical or spin 1 hour Wednesday-Nia 60 mins! (this is new as of April 22, 2009) Elliptical 30 min - 60 plus a spin class 1 hour Thursday-Elliptical 30-1 hour plus 1 hour spin class. Friday- Elliptical & spin for a total 1.5 hours Sunday-Off May 2008 My favorite is to spin and combine that with interval training with weights. April 2009, I am starting a new class Nia! (I think this may become my new fav!)
