Remember that 4lbs I the scale (aka machine of lies! LOL) well two of them are BACK! or so it says. UGH! Whatever.....I'll bet if I stepped on the scale later in the afternoon it might even say those lbs are NOT there. Fickle machines scales are!

I do think that despite the numbers on the scale my frame is thinner and tighter from putting in the workouts. I sometimes doubt that too. My daughters comment really helped. She says my saddlebags and derriere are looking trimmer....she noticed, must be true right?

You are right, clothes are a better indicator! stick with that. Yea mighta been the teriyaki chicken, who knows.

I feel like at our age it just requires more stamina to keep going, to do the right thing, especially with hormonal shifts and all. Frustrating as all hell but lets not give up.

Here's to continued good choices the rest of the week and NOT diving into our favorite garbage choice and overdoing just cuz the scale is mean!!! LOL If we do cave the scale will only get MEANER!!!!!

I keep thinking in my head, like a mantra these days, "I WILL be thinner, the lbs WILL be gone, I CAN do this! Tho I keep having to turn the volume up from a whisper to shout!!!! Just to be sure I hear myself LOL

SIGH!!!!!!! we'll get there, one day at a time....TOGETHER!

Ice cream....yeah, hard to turn down at this time of year especially but tossing frozen fruit in the food processor with other ingredients can make a pretty good alternative. My favorite lately is frozen banana, almond milk (just enough to get things started) chocolate protein powder and a drop or two of almond extract. Then since it's a pretty healthy and low count treat, I stir some sliced almonds and chocolate chips into it....a very acceptable concrete mixer results...fruit, protein and yes....chocolate! YAY!

How's it going???? Great weekend here weatherwise....so I'm guessing same for you. Perfect. Did you get a chance to sit on the porch of the summer place. Hope so! I'm a little jealous...just saying. Maybe you got to sit and enjoy AFTER a nice long walk with your puppy pal!

I spent a nice time on Saturday with my sister and my neiice just chillin poolside. A little wine but not overdone. Yay! grilled chicken and corn in cob dinner, also good! extra long walk early in the AM. (also good time to do LOTS of thinking/assessing/ psyching myself out that I can do this!)

Wishing you peace of mind and the strength to keep pushing towards the goal...however elusive the answers as to HOW are! LOL

Wish I had more for ya but just checking in. Unfortunately I'm NOT the answer guru! Wish I was! haha. Wouldn't that be nifty!

Hope you'll settle for some cheerleading. You got this! Just keep striving....the skinny shorts await thee.
