Looking to keep myself honest
Restart 2012. Need to find a way to balance work, life and healthy living. Trying to be more serene about it all, not an over-exerciser, or even consult the scale. Just trying to move more, eat better and not worry about things.

My Goals:
My goal is gradual, smart weight loss, learning more about what to eat and what not to eat, and smart, not overdoing it exercise. I want something I can keep up in the long term, and extremes won't do it. Avoid injury at all costs, no overtraining, even if it means slower loss. Long term goal-- get to and stay at a reasonable weight, nothing too drastic here, I'm thinking 145ish. A couple of years down the line goal-- pay off the house ahead of schedule and take stock of the financial situation.
My Program:
I drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, usually more, Diet Coke needs to be replaced by water or sun tea with green tea or herb tea. Wine ok occasionally, champagne definitely ok. I'm trying to up the fruit and veggie consumption, the protein by a lot, I didn't know I wasn't eating enough protein before starting. Fat doesn't seem to be as much as an issue as I thought it was, sugar is more the issue. It is easiest to avoid it almost completely, or replace with fruit. Still having some trouble with keeping protein high. Trying to stay within the SP tracker guidelines most days. Gym-- at the moment, a minimum of 15 minutes a day, more if I like, but not stressing about it.
Other Information:
