at my heaviest
at 112 pounds--my healthiest
Hi! This is my motivation right now! My first grandbaby. I can't believe I am abuela, and find it very surreal. I keep asking myself how I got to be at this stage of life. I hope to keep making progress and be healthy for many years of playing with the grandkids!
My name is Ann. I'm 50 years old. I live in Boise, Idaho with my husband of 27 years. We have four children: three boys and a girl. They are 25, 22, 18 and 17. Our daughter is the youngest. We also have one daughter-in-law, who we absolutely love. I like scrapbooking, tatting, crochet, knitting, counted cross-stitch, playing the piano, swimming, hiking, and camping.
I am 5 foot 1 inches tall. I never had a weight problem while I was growing up. I ate well and was active. After I got married I slowly sunk into bad habits and gained weight over the years.
Once I started this journey I learned that I had felt ugly and fat my entire life. I struggled to find out why. As I learned those reasons I resolved them.
I've gained greater confidence.
I want to do the things I need to do to succeed.
I want better health and stamina.
I want to enjoy my family for years to come.
I love myself and I know God loves me, too.
I know that even with all my frailties I am good enough for God.
I know that with HIS help I can do anything.
