Hi! This is my motivation right now! My first grandbaby. I can't believe I am abuela, and find it very surreal. I keep asking myself how I got to be at this stage of life. I hope to keep making progress and be healthy for many years of playing with the grandkids!

My name is Ann. I'm 50 years old. I live in Boise, Idaho with my husband of 27 years. We have four children: three boys and a girl. They are 25, 22, 18 and 17. Our daughter is the youngest. We also have one daughter-in-law, who we absolutely love. I like scrapbooking, tatting, crochet, knitting, counted cross-stitch, playing the piano, swimming, hiking, and camping.

I am 5 foot 1 inches tall. I never had a weight problem while I was growing up. I ate well and was active. After I got married I slowly sunk into bad habits and gained weight over the years.

Once I started this journey I learned that I had felt ugly and fat my entire life. I struggled to find out why. As I learned those reasons I resolved them.

I've gained greater confidence.
I want to do the things I need to do to succeed.
I want better health and stamina.
I want to enjoy my family for years to come.
I love myself and I know God loves me, too.
I know that even with all my frailties I am good enough for God.
I know that with HIS help I can do anything.

Hello Ann darling. So much appreciate the Tearra goodie and sweet note. I know how very busy you are. LDS women hardly have time for any extra things like on line communities. I sure understand. I have debated with myself about stopping SP just because these reasons. But I need the extra support. Love you and wish you all the best.

Ann, it was so good to be updated by you on my page. Good job getting back on track and glad your health is improving. Mine is slowly but surely.
I would loveto ride a cycle indoors me if I could sit on one and not have severe pain in my varicose veins when I got up. So about all I can do at this point is walk. I am hoping I can go with my neighbor to the old stake center where it is open for anyone who wants to walk the halls. I really do need some kind of arobic exercise for my heart.

Love you Ann, keep up the good work

Thinking of you today and praying you are doing well.

Thanks for your comment. I'll be sure to pay particular attention when I get to chapter 17 (no quite there yet).
