Ch-ch-ch-changes . . .
I am coming up on my 2 year Sparkaversary, and I'm not where I thought I'd be. I lost almost 35 pounds the first time around, but I gained most (but not all!) of it back. I hate knowing that I'm one of "those" people. But change is on the horizon. I'm being moved from my current position as an elementary librarian to high school ESL teacher. I figure if I'm already in the change mode, might as well go for it in other areas too! So I'm officially starting over. This is Day 1 of my journey ...

I have sources of support, things that motivate me, and a plan. I just have to put it into action! My Goals:
Long term - to lose 80 pounds To become a runner - I want to run a half marathon in Niagara Falls in a year To fit into a pair of Zumba pants To take a family picture and like the way I look in it!
My Program:
I completed the C25K program once before and ran several successful 5Ks and one 10K. I am going to restart the program so I can get back to where I was before, and beyond! I also LOVE Zumba, and try go to class 2 or 3x a week. I have the Wii Zumba game, and sometimes try to get an extra workout in that way. I need to start a regular strength training program. I also need to start a meal plan and stick to it! I recently started using a product called Bod-e Burn. It's a nutritional supplement, and it comes with an easy to follow meal plan. Personal Information:
I'm from PA and am a teacher/school library media specialist, but soon to be a high school ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. My husband and I will celebrate our 8 year anniversary July 3. We have two great kids, two dogs, and two cats! We love camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
Other Information:
Love to read and watch movies, also love hiking, camping, kayaking and other outdoor summer activities! I like all kinds of music and love watching it live.
