I want to develop a good eating and exercise lifestyle. In doing so I hope to be under 200lbs by my daughter's graduation. I'd like to get back to my original weight loss by the first of the year. I think both are doable.
I've rejoined WW and the GYM. I plan to purchase some Z-coil shoes so I can get back in to walking which is my favorite exercise. I'm also considering adding Kettlebells to my exercise routine.
Welcome to the W8Watchers friends team. We know WW works and by using WW and Spark together you can achieve your goals! If you have any questions please feel free to ask any of your team leaders, Good luck to you You are worth the effort Take this journey as I do ...one bite, one day, one pound at a time! TracyZ
Welcome back! Seems like you and I were gone about the same amount of time. That's in the past. We are back and we're going to make this journey together. We'll take it slow and easy and promise ourselves to give it our all every day.... yes and be forgiving if we don't. I'm here for you as I know you are here for me. .... we can do it!
hey Ajamoo, do a google search on that 5k and find out if there were walkers on it or if it's a big race. If it has more than a few hundred people, go ahead and do it because there are always walkers in the big races... if the times at the end are about 55 mins, then they're probably walking. What I do when I'm trying to get into on a race, is I google the name of the race (and add in) 2009 results. cool running has most of the results and active.com too.
It's horrible when the elite runners show up and you're last... I've been there, done that and so I look for bigger races where ordinary people show up. That's less pressure LOL.
