Fury's Journey to the Air Force

In July of 2013, I will be realizing my ultimate goal of joining the Air Force. It seems I've just been coasting through life, and I want a greater future for myself. I've got a lot of weight to lose, seeing as I'll need to be 185 lbs, a weight I haven't been since I was a sophomore in high school. This is a daunting task, and the life I'll be living after will be challenging, but I am determined to do this.

My Goals:
~Eat more meals in than out.
~Use my stationary bike more often when just sitting and watching TV.
~Make sure I have my water bottle with me.

By 2/13/13, weigh 251 lbs.

My Program:
I'm doing a combination of cardio and strength training so I can lose the weight fast, but tone as I go along. Gotta build those muscles!

how is it going my dear? hope you hanging in there? i c that you wanted to start walking, thats my goal too. At this point i am not too motivated to run. JUst a suggestion which u free to say no to.. i was thinking that one way for us to stay motivated would be to send each other daily text reminder to go out an exercise or walk, so it kinda gives some kind of motivation and support? I could inbox u my number if u want?

Well that was a fantastic story to hear while feeling down! That's awesome!!! I do have the Rugged Maniac before the Tough Mudder so that will be a good starting point to see if i will even stand a chance haha

How's everything going with working out and such? still going ok?

No problems hun! I recognised myself in your post so easily because I've been there before so many times. It's just about soul crushing when things take a while to get going and it seems like you're not getting anywhere.

Message me any time you want some help. I'm on Aussie times so of course there'll likely be a delay but I'll be on Maternity leave until the end of August so if you want I once I've had this bub and the requisite recovery time (for some reason our physical training instructors think you can't start getting fit again for at LEAST six weeks... Yeah right! Haha) I'll be in exactly the same position as you I'm setting my goal to pass my physical again by the time I get back to work so I'll have to be workin' my behind off to get there. We can do it! emoticon
