I am glad that things are working out for your daughters soccer team. It is exciting when they win isn't it? My daughter had had a lot of games and in one 10 day stretch they had 6 games scheduled. They only played 5 of them as the one got postponed due to the hail storm we had last weekend (see my blog Rain Anyone to see why). She is currently in Omaha for a tournament this weekend. They had a game Friday night and lost. The also have 2 games today Saturday. I had planned on attending them but they scheduled me to work at the motel both Friday and Saturday nights even though I had put in the book that I couldn't work. When I get off this morning at 7 I will go home and get my clothes in the machine and take a shower. When my clothes have finished washing and get them in the dryer we are heading to Omaha for the games. The play at noon and 4 pm. After the games we will head home and I will try to take a nap before heading back to the motel to work at 11. I don't think I will make it to church Sunday morning as I think I will be too tired to stay awake for the services.
Did your daughter make the school team? I certainly hope that she did. School teams are a bit different from the recreational teams. My daughters team only had 16 players this year and most of the games they have not had enough players at the games to be able to have any subs so the girls have had to play the hole game without any rests. The team is just about finished with their season. Districts start 4/30 and state is the weekend that we are going to be in Colorado for my son's graduation and commissioning.
Take care and have a great weekend. Thiry 1828 days ago
