After having my 5th baby, I was severly overweight. Between the time when my first child was born and my last, my weight was up and down, but I was always overweight. So when he was 9 months old, in Sept 2008 I started a bootcamp.

At the bootcamp, we started with 9 participants, I wasn't the biggest there, but wasn't the smallest either. On that first night of the bootcamp, we introduced ourselves and talked why we were there. As I was telling my story, I was almost in tears. ...

At the bootcamp, we started with 9 participants, I wasn't the biggest there, but wasn't the smallest either. On that first night of the bootcamp, we introduced ourselves and talked why we were there. As I was telling my story, I was almost in tears. I wanted to be there for my kids and also wanted to be a good role model for all of them!!

It was a 3 month bootcamp, and at the end there were only 3 left and I had lost the most @ 30lbs. I knew I still had a lot to go, but got comfortable where I was. Over the next 15 months I yo-yo again, on March 4th, I weighed myself again and was down 20lbs from my original weight in Sept 2008. Since then I have walked regularly, watching what I am eating and am now down another 13.5 lbs.

My Goals:
1.To be in the "normal" BMI range by my 37th Birthday.
2. To run 5K in under 30mins.
3. To run 10K in the spring.

My Program:
I'm alot of walking, running, eliptical and following some vidoes....depends on how I feel that day! Also tracking my food and drinking plenty of water.

Beautiful Woman Award! Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the wall of 8 women who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out.
