Hi! I am a mother of 3. I am hoping to lose about 70 lbs!

I started this journey looking in the mirror and not recognizing myself. I hated looking at myself, hated getting dressed. I never put on makeup or even cared what I looked like. I figured I was ugly and fat all ready and no make up in the world would help me. I slowly put on weight after having each of my 3 beautiful children and a little before having them.

I was always active as a teenager and loved sports.
I have never been bone thin, but I was never large either. As I got older I let life get in the way my love of sports. I slowly stopped playing. Weight started to come on.

During this time I ate whatever I wanted not having a care of what I was putting in my body. I can honestly say I easily consumed 5000 calories in any given day. I hate hotwings maybe 3 times a week, Mc Donalds 4 times a week. I always complained I didnt have time to cook. I wasn't ever satisfied until I felt completely stuffed! I mean completely stuffed!

March 12, 2009 Finally an opportunity at work came to start Weight Watchers. I decided to join. I was the Valedictorian of the class. I learned so much about nutrition, portion control, and just life in general. So determined and so focused. I couldn't stand the skin I was in and made a decision to change. I started working out right away. Funny, I had free gym membership with my health insurance and NEVER used it! Plus the gym is across the street from me!

I stumbeled upon spark people because I was afraid Weight Watchers was not giving me enough daily calories and I wanted to track my food for free. I was getting enough calories. I signed up and fell in love with it!

I don't count weight watchers points anymore, but the stuff I learned still sticks with me. I try to track my food on sparkpeople. I try and Eat Clean most of the time,that means no overly processed foods. I believe everything in moderation so if I want cheesecake, I have it. Just a little bit, and I workout to make up for it.

June 7, 2010... I have met my goal which really was just to loose a few lbs. Although, I always wanted to loose this much, I never really thought I could. Now I have lost 80 lbs and I really don't care about the weight anymore. I really only care about that darn mother's apron I have on my lower tummy. I think it is about 20 more pounds, I don't know. I am not going to stress myself out over it, but I will continue to exercise and eat right until it is gone!

My goals are to change my lifestyle. I just want to eat better and be healthier.

My Program:
I am tracking my calories. I used to do weight watchers and I highly recommend it to anyone. I measure everything I put in my mouth. I work out about 4- 5 times a week. 30 minutes to an hour of cardio plus strength training.
