Variety is the spice of life
Okay. What can I say about me? I am 32 years old, and I've struggled with my weight all my life. Never been a small girl, but in the course of all of it I've managed in my younger years to lead a fairly healthy and active life, and grew up as an athlete and cheerleader. Okay. What can I say about me? I am 32 years old, and I've struggled with my weight all my life. Never been a small girl, but in the course of all of it I've managed in my younger years to lead a fairly healthy and active life, and grew up as an athlete and cheerleader. Since I joined the real world, my life became more sedentary, and I watched my weight constantly fluctuate between 225 and 180. I am currently the largest now that I've ever been. I struggled with bulimia through young adulthood and swore that I would never throw up or crash diet again, so I began a quest to do this the healthy way. 5 years ago, my husband helped me with a stringent exercise and eating plan. I lost 50 pounds. Then we lost his mother to cancer. During the struggle, we both consoled ourselves with food and stopped working out, so here I am again. This is it. This time, I'm sticking to a healthy lifestyle. I will not diet, I will make healthier decisions, and I will remember what it felt like to move my body. I love the feeling after you exercise, the high, the muscle soreness, all of it - I've just been too lazy lately to put in the effort. I am now realizing that if I don't take control of this NOW, I will be putting myself at risk for diabetes, heart disease, and who knows what else. That's enough to motivate me each day that I wake up to put one foot in front of the other and take that first step back into the lifestyle that I want. What's on my Ipod now 1. Since U Been Gone - Kelly Clarkson 2. SexyBack - Justin Timberlake 3. A Little Bit of Ecstasy - Josie 4. Don't Cha - The Pussycat Dolls 5. The One (Remix) - DJ Icey 6.
