Hello, I'm a 36 year old mother of 3 wonderful children.

Somehow, over the years, like many of us, I let the routine, the kids, the bf, etc... get to me. No more time for me. I ended up completely losing myself and my self esteem!!!

Now, I feel like I have to get back on track, gain control of my life back, find out who I am now and even what I like. I'm on a journey to find myself and I'm starting with my outer self and it seems to do wonders on my inner self, especially my self esteem. Exercising has made a huge difference!!! And I've only started a couple of weeks ago. I have been on SP for years, done it once, worked well, but fell back into my old habits. I wasn't determined enough to permanently change. Now I am. And I need to change more than just my outer self. I need to change a lot of things in my life, and some things will be harder than changing my diet and exercise habits. I realized one thing :

I HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL OVER WHAT I EAT AND HOW I STAY FIT!!!

They are so many things I lost control of that realizing that this is something I can easily control is amazing!!! OK, so you'll say I should've thought of that before, but somehow, I always thought that the kids or bf wouldn't want to eat more healthy, or that I don't have time to exercise. Well you know what? The kids don't have a choice about what I make, the bf can make himself something else if he's not happy ( but actually he is, and I do try to find something everybody might like, there are so many recipes on sparkrecipes!), and I MAKE time to exercise.

Today, my energy level is way up!!! My self esteem is still a work in progress (and will be for a while, I think!) but getting fit is definitely a step in the right direction!!!

Sometimes, I'm a bit scared cause I have no idea where this journey is going to take me, but I just can't stay where I'm at right now. So let's hit the road!!!

My Goals:
My ultimate goal is to find myself and gain my self-esteem back.

My weight goal is to get down to 150, but making it to 155 would make me happy. Getting healthy and having energy to do all sorts of activities is my ultimate goal.


My Program:
Training : Minimum 30 minutes 7 days a week.

Nutrition : Staying wihin my calorie range and following the heart association's recommendations
