Grrr...I hate these "introduce yourself in 10 words, preferably adjectives" things. The important stuff about me? I love my family, my friends, and my dog. My nieces and nephews (all 13--count em!) are most amazing kids ever and I have absolute faith they will change the world. I want to get healthier to be a good example for them and live a long and happy life.

I'm a bit of a movie buff, and my current favorite line is from 'Strictly Ballroom': "A life lived in fear is a life ...

My Goals:
I have somewhat simple goals: to fit in an airline seat comfortably, to shop in the 'misses department', to be able to run after my nephews and not fear for my life....

My Program:
I rely on a food journal to keep me honest, and I'm trying to aim for a mix of cardio, weights, and yoga.

Other Information:
I like to travel- I love cruises. I like to read, mostly mysteries- cozies and the funny ones, nothing that will keep me up at night! And I love movies- I'll have a "Me Day" and stay in my PJs all day and watch Jane Austen movies.
