Hello? Is this thing on?

Find out more about me at my blog: http://girlonabicycle.blogspot.com/

Hi guys! I joined SP back in 2007 and was pretty successful. I had quit smoking and lost 30 lbs. Too successful, actually. I got complacent with my progress and started thinking I didn't "need" this place anymore. I felt great, I looked great..I was fine!

Except, I still needed this place. It took a few years, but eventually the weight crept right back on & I picked up smoking again. Stupid.

Stupid.

Anyway, I ditched the smokes for good over 2 years ago, but the weight seems to have stuck. So now I'd like to tackle that.

It's not even about my size/weight--I just felt awful. I don't like feeling tired or sick or like a lumbering hulk. So, I'm going to change that.

I plan on giving myself a challenge each month, and keeping a daily goals list. I already know that counting calories leads to madness with me, so I will only track WHAT I eat, not HOW MUCH and stick to reasonable portions.

I don't have a goal date in mind: it will happen, when it happens. And since this is a lifestyle change--it doesn't matter what the "end date" is, does it?

My Program:
I ride my bike daily.

I set daily fitness goals.

I log my meals & snacks.

I blog everyday.

Thanks for the encouraging comments on my page. I know I'll get there, just frustrating when you don't see the results you expect. You're right, a lot of stuff is outside of my control, so I just need to learn patience and control what I can.

Thanks for popping by my EA blog. :-) Good to meet a fellow fan. I'm getting the hang of where to place my feet on the resistance band for different exercises now, to get optimum resistance with the supplied one, but I'll check around the shops for other choices as I improve. :-) Thanks for that tip. :-)
Hugs,
Lex xxx

You're right about what you say on your page....the site works if you use it. Like you, I've been back and forth a few times...but when I use the site more, my results are ALWAYS better. Sigh .
Sending you a friends request!

Thank you! Now where do I buy a jump rope? According to a chart I found, I need an 8' rope.
