Having trouble with stiction!!

You know how when you're pushing a car, it's harder to get the car moving than it is to keep it rolling? Yeah, that's what I'm having trouble with. I need to eat well - I've been training for months and not seeing much progress. Actually, I'm starting to see definition lines, which is bizarre, since I'm still really chubby; I bet I'm starting to look really buff under all the fat. ;p I know that changing my eating will start the snowball ...
Having trouble with stiction!!

You know how when you're pushing a car, it's harder to get the car moving than it is to keep it rolling? Yeah, that's what I'm having trouble with. I need to eat well - I've been training for months and not seeing much progress. Actually, I'm starting to see definition lines, which is bizarre, since I'm still really chubby; I bet I'm starting to look really buff under all the fat. ;p I know that changing my eating will start the snowball snowballing... just having trouble getting over that hump. So here I am at Spark again, looking for motivation and clean food ideas and ways to get the "how" of it done since I really do know the "what".

My Goals:
I want to have more energy! I want to take up trail running (I want to run, period). I want to wear a bikini and look good in it. I want to stop wallflowering.

My Program:
I'm staging. I realized trying to change everything at once never, ever works for me.

I strength train with my trainer 2x/week, and I manage to get cardio in 2-4x/wk (usually step or walk/run intervals with the dog).

I know nutrition is by far the most important component... making and packing clean food consistently is never something I've been good at. I'm working on one day at a time, collecting "perfect days" like trophies.
